I am blessed to have an occupation I thoroughly enjoy. What I do is not a job, it’s a lifestyle. Enjoying the outdoor activities of fishing, hunting and trapping is extended as I relive them in my writing and layouts. Photos are part of this revisiting of my outdoor experiences. Selected photos from these experiences are posted below.

FISHERS!

Fisher have been a great challenge – both on the trapline and with trail cameras. I’ve been getting quite a few still images and video clips of fisher this years. Here a two of the stills.

SPRING MUSKRAT

We drove to Presque Isle, Erie, Pennsylvania, earlier this week. I was able to take approximately 90 photos of this muskrat while he was eating and preening. This is the time of year when they are very active and often out on shore.

MOUNTAIN TRAIL CAMERAS

Son Josh, grandchildren Khloee and Kaeden, and I went to the Allegheny National Forest area today to pull four trail cameras I had in three locations for exactly one month. Mostly video clips, we ended up with images of numerous bobcat, a coyote, quite a few raccoon, lots of porcupine, some deer, and a cottontail rabbit. It was a beautiful day to be in the woods!

RED FOX ON SNOW

This is a nice red fox I caught the morning of February 17, 2016, in a cable restraint (live-catch snare).
